Miss Philippines-International Kylie Versoza dedicates her win to the country after she bagged the title Miss International 2016 which made her the 6th representative from the country to win the crown on October 27 in Japan.
Versoza burst to tears in an interview on 24 oras after her win as she narrated the glorious moment. “ I cannot describe it. Humagulgol yata ako! I could not believe it…”
She also added that she worked really hard for it and went through a lot of struggles to get the title, and her experience in the pageant made her appreciate the way she really are.“Sa mga kabataan, mag-aral kayo nang mabuti dahil ang beauty ay hindi lang sa physical, but mental as well. Respect others and become a good person,” Versoza’s challenge to the youth.

Meanwhile, Kylie expressed her gratitude to everybody who became a part of her journey in an interview aired in TV Patrol. “Philippines, we got it. Thank you so much. Philippines, I love you all. This is all for you. All my hard work, all the struggles we've been through this past week, this past year, I appreciate it all your support. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I love you so much, mabuhay!" she said.
Given the chance to be the Miss International, she mentioned in her speech that she will focus on three things- culture, education, and international understanding that gained applauses from the crowd.
Aside from being a beauty queen, Versoza is from Baguio City and a former pre-school teacher.
