Pacquiao shares half of his income to the needy

God loves a cheerful giver.

A total of $200 million was allocated to projects for the less fortunate from the income of Senator and World Boxing Champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.

“Every income I receive in boxing, almost half of it goes to the less fortunate,” Pacquiao said.

The boxing champ also added that after each fight, half of his income goes to the poor but he doesn’t like the idea of making it public.

Forbes’ report says Pacquiao’s income from career and endorsement projects is around $500 million.

From his income, the Senator already built 1500 homes in Mindanao and donated boats to the fishermen in the coastal community.

His charity works motivate him to fight and work harder so that he could continue what he had started.

Meanwhile, the boxing champ will resume his duties as a legislator today right after his arrival from Las Vegas.
