TV series Encantadia writer slams De Lima on feminism issue

Marcos’ burial time-out.

Head writer and creative unit head of GMA Network Suzette Doctolero criticized Sen. Leila De Lima on her Facebook account for using her gender to shield herself from the controversies she is facing right now.

Doctolero in her Facebook post exclaimed that if De Lima became a man, her relationship with her inferiors would have been a big issue and a relationship of a high ranking official with her subordinates will also bring disappointment to their working environment.

“Kung lalaki si Sen Delima ay matagal na itong inakusahan at inimbestigahan for possible sexual coercion o sexual matagal na rin siguro itong pinag resign o nasampahan ng kasong administratibo,” Doctolero stated in her post.

De Lima using her gender card to escape all the controversies attached to her, especially her alleged relationship with Ronnie Dayan who is currently hiding at some corner in the country because the Bilibid inmates witnessed he’s involvement in illegal drug activities brought the biggest disappointment to Doctolero.

In her concluding statement, she countered argument De Lima’s move to use feminism to gain sympathy from the public. She quoted “#wagNyongGamitinAngFeminismIssue #feminism is not about delima getting away with her unethical behavior. #lokohan #Tinututulan kong maging pagmumukha ng kababaihan si Leila!”
