Humility. This has been the character of the President Rodrigo Duterte seen by the people as he extended apologies for not mentioning Vice President Leni Robredo in the opening statement of his speech during the 2017 graduation ceremony of the Philippine Military Academy on March 12.

In the said opening statement, President Duterte mentioned defense secretary, PMA general, Baguio City Mayor, other dignitaries, graduates and their parents but missed out the Vice President.

"Ang nagsulat nito, di ka sinali, bugbugin na lang natin," Duterte said when he noticed that he didn't mentioned Leni in his greetings.

"I'd like to apologize and acknowledge the presence of this beautiful lady, the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines. Sorry ma'am di kita nabati," Duterte apologized to Leni.
