The airport plan will feature a two-runway airport and passenger terminal that can initially accommodate 50 million passengers and 90 million.

“According to All-Asia Resources & Reclamation Corporation (ARRC) vice chairman Edmundo Lim, the group proposal of Henry Sy Sr. and William Tieng hopes to start by this year and already had been welcome by President Rodrigo Duterte,” said Roxie in her post.

She also said that Duterte will think of  the project and approve it in a span of days.

ARRC Vice Chairman Edmund Lim, one of the front runners of this project said they are ready but they need the approval from the government. “Once we get that, we can start by 2017. What the President wants is for the construction to be finished before his term is over.”

The said gateway project could be finished within 5 years time if started this 2017.
