Duterte Raises his Middle Finger as He Files Charges of Multiple Syndicated Estafa To ABS-CBN

"Ngayong franchise ninyo, kumpiyansa kayo kasi ang franchise renewable this year. If you are in operation for 25 years, maganda ng record mo, no need for another franchise. But I'm telling you now, I will be filing charges of multiple syndicated estafa," said Duterte at a housing event for the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police.

The President threatened the television network when they failed to air his campaign ad last year.

Duterte said the charges would be a black mark for the network when its congressional broadcast franchise comes up for renewal.

Duterte heatedly addressed the heads of the network to be thick faced who had the nerve to trick poor politicians like them.

On the other hand, GMA News Online has gathered the side of ABS-CBN regaring the issue.

In his newest tirade, Duterte directly addressed Gabby Lopez, ABS-CBN Corporation Chairman.

"Gabby Lopez, I paid ABS-CBN P2,800,000. I was able to gather money in the last weeks of my candidacy, noong tumaas na ang rating ko... Tinanggap ninyo ang pera ko. You never bothered to show my propaganda," he said, Duterte added that the network also did the same for the campaigns of Roman Romulo, Alan Peter Cayetano, and Chiz Escudero, which they didn’t return their money after forgetting their responsibility.

The President also lashed out at media companies including the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

"Press freedom? Press freedom, kayo ang number one magnanakaw. Ayaw isauli ang propriedad. Press freedom? Kami? How about our freedom? We have our freedom of expression to express our anger. And that's my ultimate constitutional right," he said.

"You? You're bullshit. Mukha kayong pera. Ang kakapal ng mukha n'yo, kayong taga-media. You want my sentiments? F—you” he said.

The President’s middle finger was raised as he ended his speech.
