Fariñas blasts Trillianes “Ingrato!” For Being a Self-appointed ’Moral Compass’

The Ilocos Norte politico and House Majority Leader Rodolfo Farinas threatened to file an ethics case against a fellow Magdalo rebel, Rep. Gary Alejano, this is for the same reason that he is not letting Senator Antonio Triallanes IV get away with unscrupulous setbacks against him.

Fariñas said in a text message, “He (Trillanes) thinks he is our moral compass who has the authority to stage a failed coup and attack everyone he pleases. He defends the right of Rep. Alejano to file cases against the President, but does not grant me the same right to file a case against him for perjury or an ethics case. Who has twisted morals?”

According to Trillianes, the Ilokano politician is vigorously defending the corrupt and murdering ways of his mob boss Duterte.

“This guys must either have disturbingly twisted morals or very high on something,” said Trillanes to Fariñas for harshing out Alejano for doing what is right - pertaining to the impeachment plan for President Rodrigo Duterte.

Trillianes unceasingly shoots Fariñas with statements like calling him a “poor lawyer”where the latter counters as taking the it as compliment coming from someone who doesn’t know the law.

To end the battle of intimations, Fariñas reminded Trillianes that during the 15th Congress, he was the one who sponsored and defended on the floor a bill pushing to grant amnesty to him and the rest of the Magdalo mutineers

On October 2010 Trillianes and other soldiers were free by the amnesty bill that was signed by the then President Aquino. The Marine standoff last February 2006 and the Manila Peninsula siege in November 2007.

“There were many who opposed the amnesty and I, as Senior Vice Chair of the Justice Committee defended it with Rep. Niel Tupas on the floor. That is how they got their freedom, political and civil rights back. That is the only instance of twisted morals that I committed,” said Farinas.
