Pilot episode of Duterte’s TV show runs today

The first episode of President Rodrigo Duterte’s television show will air tonight, May 19.

Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar made this announcement in his social media account on Facebook saying the pre-taped show will run for an hour, beginning 7 pm to 8 pm.

The president’s show is entitled “Mula sa Masa, Para sa Masa” was envisioned at the start of his administration as a remake of his former weekend show which he did during his mayoralty term in Davao City.

This TV show will be exactly like the format of his show in Davao City in which he will talk about timely issues. His co-host is People’s Television’s anchor, Rocky Ignacio.

Duterte will also read citizens’ complaints and respond as well as to address the issues.

According to PCOO officials, during the pilot episode of Mula sa Masa, Para sa Masa will talk about his new cabinet secretary Department of Environment and Natural Resources Chief Roy Cimatu.

He will also tackle about his pet prject and human rights.

The said show will be aired on PTV Channel 4 and will be viewed live on the Facebook Page o “Mula sa Masa, Para sa Masa.”
