Robredo remains upbeat about her chances keeping her vice presidency

Vice President Leni Robredo was caught off guard as she firmly believes that she has a chance to keep her vice presidential post even if former Senator Bongbong Marcos has questioned her victory before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal.

In an interview with Unang Hirit on Tuesday, Robredo said she believes she will finish her term until 2020 when was asked about her stand about this issue.

The VP said she is not scared about the poll protes filed against her becase she won the vice presidential seat fair and square.

She added the only thing that is needed right now is the trust to be given to the PET's process of assessing the merits if the protest against her.

"Maraming natatakot, maraming kinakabahan, pero parati kong sinasabi tumiwala sa proseso, tumiwala sa institusyon, kasi doon naman ang sandigan ng ating demokrasaya," Robredo stressed.
