WATCH: Duterte gives advice to Trump: Keep cool over North Korea

President Rodrigo Duterte gave an unsolicited advice to United States President Donald Trump to keep it cool after North Korea launched its latest missile test.

Being the chairman of the Association of South East Asian Nation, Duterte bluntly said Asia would be the first victim of a nuclear war once a misstep will be committed.

Later on Saturday, the Philippine president was due to have a phone conversation with Trump. He boldly said he would urge Trump to avoid confrontation with North Korea's leader Kim-Jong Un.

"There seems to be two countries playing their toys, and those toys are not really to entertain. And we have to caution everybody, including those who would give the advice to the two power players, because here there are nuclear warheads, to just show restraint," Duterte said.

According to Duterte, countries US, Japan, South Korea and China are sparring with a man who was excited about the prospect of firing missiles because he want to end the world.

The North Korean government however failed in its missile test as stated from a call to Washington.

The Trump Administration has warned it could take military action if diplomacy will fail and has sent US warships to the region.
