Duterte warns ex-Mayor Solitario to show his face or else he'll die

President Rodrigo Duterte said he has no plans to meet former Marawi City Mayor Solitario Ali who has been ordered arrested together with his brother Fajad Salic, also former chief of the place for rebellion and allegedly supporting the Maute group.

Last Thursday, Salic has been arrested while Ali was a fugitive and looking to seek an audience with Duterte to give his side.

On the other hand, the President shared he had a conversation with Ali over the phone and told him not to show his face because he will be arrested or killed. Duterte further suggested for Ali to explain everything to Presidential Peace Adviser Jess Dureza who tapped Ali as an adviser in his office.

"Tumawag si Solitario. Sabi ko, putang ima, ano ka ba? Kampi ka sa gobyerno o kalaban tayo? Kasi sabi ko pinapahuli ka mi Lorenzana, putang ina, putang ina, ipapatay talaga kitam," said Duterte in his speech in Sultan Kudarat.

According to the President, Ali asked Duterte not to spill the beans to anyone. But the president said he need to talk and explain to Dureza.

"Mag-usap kayo ni Dureza, pero huwag kang magpakita sa gobyerno, talagang huhulihin ka. Baka patayin ka pa," the president added.

Duterte was convinced that Ali and Salic were the people behind the take over of ISIS backed terrorist group since May 22.

"Kayo well, pinasok ninyo ang ISIS. You know, ISIS does not do anything except to kill and destroy. Bakit ninyo ginusto yang grupong yan," he said.

"You talk first eiyh Dureza. Ewan ko kung saan kayo magkikita, basta huwag kang magpakita. Sabi ko, then you go to LorenzNa. Eh kung magsabi si Lorenzana, medyo clear o pag hindi. Kayo ang nag-umpisa diyan eh. Tapos ngayon, karami ninyong daldal. Do not give me that bull shit," Duterte concluded.

Up to date, the Marawi siege is now on its 18th day.
