Former ally of ex-President Aquino laughs over Aguirre’s fake news

Department of Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre became a laughing stock to the allies of ex-President PNoy Aquino for linking some Liberal Party Members to the violent attack in Marawi City.

Aquino’s former Adviser, Ronald Llamas said it is a very interesting story.

“That’s very interesting. If not for the tragic events in Marawi that would even be very funny. But I no longer want to dignify fake news,” said Llamas in a statement.

Llamas shared his thoughts using his social media account on Twitter.

Justice Head Aguirre accused Senators Bam Aquino, Antonio Trillanes IV and Magdalo party-list representative Gary Alejano were at Marawi City before the May 23rd.

The secretary emphasized it was possible that the lawmakers meeting with former Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Ronald Llamas and local leaders might sparked the terroristic acts in Marawi.

He also urged the lawmakers to conduct a probe and checked the P79 million worth of cash and checks seized recently by the military from a Maute stronghold in the conflict zone.

On the other hand, the Department of Trade and Industry has clarified that Aquino flew to the city fulfilling his role as a guest during the launching of the first Negosoyo Center situated in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
