Nine wounded soldiers from the Joint Marawi Task Force experienced a one of kind travel going back to Manila with President Rodrigo Duterte as he offered them a ride aboard the presidential plane on Tuesday.

The president asked the soldiers to board in the plane following his visit to the Camp Edilberto Evangelista Station Hospital in Cagayan de Oro City, where they were hospitalized.

While on board, Duterte took the chance to chat with the wounded soldiers and pose for pictures with them.

The president has visited wounded troops sent to a hospital in neighboring Cagayan De Oro City to award medals and raise his soldiers’ morale, the same day he made his first visit to Marawi evacuees in Iligan City.
