Robredo's lawyers put a 738 witnesses in her preliminary conference brief submitted to the Supreme Court sitting as Presidential Electoral Tribunal.

The VP's counsel, Atty. Romulo Macalintal said the only truth is that she has been validly voted by millions of people.

"For protestee Robredo, and to the millions who voted and supported her, the only truth is that she has been validly voted upon and proclaimed as Vice President of this country," said Macalintal.

Leni has also stated three provinces as pilot areas for the manual recount in her brief namely Capiz, Sulu, and North Cotabato.

On the other hand, in his preliminary conference brief, BBM identified as pilot areas include Iloilo, Negros Oriental, and the home province of his opponent, Camarines Sur.

Marcos legal counsel, Victor Rodriguez explained that while Camarines Sur was the hometown of Robredo, it was highly improbable that she would get more than eighty percent of the votes cast when all of the other vice presidential candidates were either from the Bicol region or had ties in the said region.

Both parties submitted their respective briefs in time for the co duct of the preliminary conference set by the PET on July 11.
