Chief Bato cancelled his appointments in Marawi City amidst the on going war against the Maute terrorist group after he heard a statement from Justice chief Vitaliano Aguire that illegal drug trade came back and SAF troopers were involved.

The PNP chief said he doesn't believe the allegations however he need to make it sure because it can damage the whole PNP.

Look at me straight to the eye, lalaki sa lalaki, meron ba?

Bato also said that if this is true, he will deal with them accordingl even thought it will hurt him.

"I'm willing to go to jail with you kung totoong nagtatrabaho lang kayo ng matino.

According to dela Rosa, an investigation will be conducted tobe fair with the accuser and the accused.
