Aquino using her social media account on Instagram mentioned the processing of her busines permit was halted due to supposed discrepancies in her company Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions involved in setting up he franchise restaurant, Chowking along Welcome Rotunda in Quezon City.

"As an entrepreneur Kris, today was like a glass of cold water thrown at my face. I was raised by a mother who taught me that integrity is the measure of a person in every aspect of her life, most especially in business and in public service," she wrote in her caption.

She mentioned in her post that while acquiring business permit, the authorities found discrepancies in KCAP.

"Our 2nd Chowking in QC Welcome Rotonda is set to open this August- unfortunately the process of our acquiring a business permit was put to halt. Why? because  of supposed discrepancies in KCAP which is my sole proprietorship whereas Chowking is in partnership with @chadominic and my older sister, Pinky," she added.

The ex-presidential sister mentioned she already consulted her lawyer and accountant about the matter pointing out why her company was given a 2017 business permit if there was an issue found out last 2016.

"Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ako ginigipit? i grew up in Quezon City, halos lahat ng trabaho ko sa QC (because of ABS CBN), dito ko pinalaki ang mga anak ko- mahal ko ang QC. Kaya nga dito ko binuhos investments ko," she concluded.

She used the hashtag #StrictlyBusiness at the end of her post.
