Discriminated transgender airs emotions over Jollibee Food Corp

A member of the LGBT community has been discriminated in a fast food chain giant saying they do not welcome people like him in their room.

In a Facebook post of Bunny Cadag, he narrated how Jollibee Food Corporation discriminated him as a transcriber in the said company.

Cadag said he was invited by Human Capitol Development (HDC) to become transcriber in an evaluation interview.

The said Mr. Angsico according to Cadag said JFC is not yet ready to accept the LGBT culture and the idea of welcoming a transgender in their office is not possible. However he promised to give him a job but it’s recording instead of transcribing.

Cadag mentioned he has submitted a formal complaint in their email and also called customer service to air his emotions however he did not receive any reply from the company.

He decided to air his emotions on social media specifically on Facebook and demanded for an official statement on why he was treated in the way.

Meanwhile after Cadag’s post went viral on Facebook and drawn different reactions from netizens, JFC finally broke its silence over the matter.

“We assure everyone that this is an isolated incident as JFC (Jollibee Foods Corp) does not in any way tolerate any disrespect, discrimination, harassment, violation, or intimidation of any person, consistent with our company policy on diversity and inclusion,” the statement read.

“This experience has taught us that we should further heighten awareness and understanding of this policy across the organization,” the statement added.
