Duterte gets surprise over Andy Bautista's ill-gotten wealth

President Rodrigo Duterte was surprised to learn that Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Andres Bautista after his wife shared to him his ill-gotten wealth.

Patricia Paz 'Tish' Bautitsta had a meeting last July 26 with President Duterte which lasted for three hours in which they discussed the three dozen passbooks of Andy as well as bank and real properties undeclared in his 2016 Sworn Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth.

Duterte endorsed Tish to National Bureau of Investigation Director Dante Gierran.

Based on the affidavit submitted by Patricia, Bautista has accounts in different banks which are not included in his SALN. These are Luzon Development Bank, One dollar and one peso RCBC Bank, and HSBC.

Tish has also said hishusband owns condominium unit in One Bonifacio High Street at Bonifacio Global Cityin Taguig.

The comelec chair's wife claimed the safest place to bring the documents is in Malacanang.

"So I would think the safest place to bring this is there because at the end of the day, this is the President. This is as high as it goes," she added.
