Lawyer reacts over Comelec chair's issue: Sa wakas nabuking na si angry bird

After his alleged ill-gotten wealth was exposed, Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairman Andres Bautista is receiving criticisms now all over the social media.

Election Lawyer Glen Chong using his Facebook account shared his sentiments over Andy's issue in whichhe emphasized that his violation is an impeachable offense.

Chong stressed that according to his source, his properties in abroad might cost an estimated amount of P700 million.

The lawyer also mentioned the Corona doctrine which explains that Bautista's offense is impeachable. He also mentioned that fraud during elections are also the source of money of some Comelec dignitaries.

Chong emphasized that this issue of Bautista is a living proof that there is something wrong with the political and election system using the controversial smartmatic.

He further suggested in his postthat they should also investigate smartmatic.

"ANG ILL-GOTTEN WEALTH NA ITO NI ANDRES BAUTISTA AY SINTOMAS LAMANG NG MAS MALALANG SAKIT NG ATING POLITICAL AT ELECTION SYSTEM – ANG PATULOY NA PAGBEBENTA NG MGA POSISYON AT PANDARAYA SA HALALAN GAMIT ANG SISTEMA NG SMARTMATIC. KAYA KAILANGAN TALAGANG IMBESTIGAHAN AT MANAGOT DIN ANG SMARTMATIC," Chong concluded.

As to this writing, the said post has generated 1100 different reactions from netizens.
