WATCH: Parents of Kian admits some groups planned to take his son's remains to EDSA

The father of slain 17 years old, Kian delos Santos, Saldy admitted there were groups who planned to take his son's remains in EDSA, however he did not allow it to happen.


In an news aired in ABS-CBN TV Patrol Dominic Almerol interviewed Kian's  parents  during their visit to his tomb. According to the couple, they were not able to say proper good bye during son's interment due to the massive number of people who attended.

Mr. & Mrs. delos Santos then admitted that during Kian's wake, some groups tried to convince them to bring the slain child's remain to another place.

"Plano nila na dalhin sa EDSA. Ewan ko, baka magra-rally sila. Pero di ako pumayag," said Saldy.

On the other hand, the grieving father also said sorry to his son for leaving him early last Saturday, August 26.

"Sorry kasi iniwan ka namin agad. Ang dami kasing tao eh. Kaya kami pumunta ngayon kasi gusto ka naming maka usap ng maayos," he said in front of his son's grave.

On the other hand, Violence Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) Chairman Dante Jimenez, who was also there to offer a prayer said he is hopeful that Kian's death might receive his justice in a short period of time.

"Dapat ma-apply din to sa ibang biktima," Jimenez added.
