WATCH: VP Robredo and Comelec Chair Bautista meeting over BBM's protest goes viral

A video of alleged meeting between Vice President Leni Robredo and Commission on Elections Andres Bautista went viral after netizens speculated the matter discussed was about the reply to be issued to her VP competitor, Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. who filed an electoral protest before the Supreme Court.


According to the video posted on Facebook page Daang Matuwid, Robredo allegedly met Bautista eight hours after high tribunal which acts as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal ordered her reply to Marcos' protest.

"Barely 8 hours after the Supreme Court made the order, Leni Robredo nheld a secret meeting with fellow respondent and Comelec Chairman Bautista at the 10th floor of Urdaneta Apartments in Makati," the video claimed.

In the said video, Robredo was seen entering Urdaneta Apartments accompanied by members of her security team and she allegedly left at around 10:26 in the evening.

Bautista left the place four minutes after Robredo made her exit at 10:30.

The video also questioned the both oarties if their meeting should be considered legal if it shows he gives favor to the alleged fraudulent party.

"As the electoral case is still pending in the PET, the Filipino people would like to know: Is it legal for the Comelec Chairman to meet and favor the alleged fraudulent party? If both parties have nothing to hide, why meet in secret."
